Day 16, Saturday, 8 June, Dubois to Riverton

We said goodbye to our campmates and set out for Riverton. The mostly downhill ride took us through beautiful western country. We rode 80.64 miles at an average of 14.4 mph. My maximum speed was 39.4 mph.

We stayed with Tom and Margaret Harless, parents of David Harless, a colleague at VCU. The were delightful hosts and treated us royally.

Here is a map of our general route: http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/248206971. It shows that our starting, stopping, and maximum elevations were 6,928 ft., 4,970 ft., and 6,965 ft. We climbed 958 vertical ft. and had 1 class-5 climb.
