Day 46, Monday, 8 July, Confluence

Today is a needed rest day. To move slow, eat some fresh fruits and vegetables, and take care of odds and ends was a delight. I even worked a short nap into my schedule. One important detail was putting wax on our chains. We went from riding creaky noisy bikes to the silent smooth modes of transportation. We also rode to see the lake on the other side of the dam from our camp. The setting is beautiful.

Thanks to Al Meyer for letting me use his Airstream to charge my iPad.

We rode 7.77 incidental miles.
