Day 40, Tuesday, 2 July, New Paris to Yellow Springs

Today's ride was flat and followed at least four different bike trails. We love paved bike trials. We camped at John Bryan State Park and showered at the community pool.

We rode 81.24 miles, the last 66.18 at 11.9 mph. My maximum speed was 24.5 mph.

We rode many miles on the Historic National Road, the first federally funded highway.
