Day 12, Tuesday, 4 June, Idaho Falls to Victor

We had a fantastic day. Following the advice of folks with we talked, we changed travel plans and headed to Victor by looping north through Rexburg instead of taking the Pine Creek Pass. we made a great choice. the scenery was beautiful and interesting. the highlight was riding down the backside of the Grand Tetons.

Rose Hendricks asked if we would like to stay at her house while we were in Driggs. We accepted and stayed with her and her husband, Ty Mack. He is a world-class rock climber. Visit http://outerlocal.com/climbing/the-almighty-a-climbers-story-outpost to learn more.

We covered.88.14 miles @ 11.8 mph.

Here is a map of our general route. It shows that our starting, stopping, and maximum elevations were 4,750 ft., 6,139. ft., and 6,191 ft. We climbed 2,018 vertical ft. with no classified climbs.

We pass a windmill farm.
Starting to see green again
We saw several storage sheds with sod roofs and walls.
